Temperature controller for dilution refrigerators

Description
An electronic analog device for automatically controlling the mixing chamber temperature of a dilution refrigerator is described. A self-inductance magnetic thermometer is used as the temperature sensing element. Using this device we were able to hold the mixing chamber temperature changes to less than 0.1 mK for periods of up to 12 h in the temperature range between 0.4 and 0.1 K.
