Thermomagnetic anomaly in manganites near Curie point

Description
To study magnetic property and kinetic effect interconnection in manganites investigation into thermo- and galvanomagnetic effects in La0.68Pb0.30Sr0.02MnO3 monocrystal in the Curie point region is conducted. It is ascertained that in the ferromagnetic region the monocrystal investigated is of metal conductivity type. Experimental data are obtained confirming the applicability of Dick-Abelski ratio for α thermo-emf near Curie temperature. A new method for determining Fermi energy based on experimental and calculated data combination is proposed. A conclusion is drawn that thermo-emf coefficient anomalies in Curie region are determined by magnetoresistance temperature behaviour anomalies
