Surface photometry of the SB0 galaxy NGC 1023
Description
Beam-switched photoelectric surface photometry has been obtained for the SBO galaxy NGC1023. Initially the disk surface brightness distribution is approximately exponential with a more rapid fall-off in surface brightness occurring for R > 5 arc minutes (approximately 15 kpc).
