Plant personnel training in Spain

  • 1. Tecnatom, S.A., Madrid (Spain)

Description

Statistical data collected by international organizations show that about 50% of operating significant events derive from inadequate plant staff performance. Analysis of the underperformance identifies as one of the main causes the training systems and methods. Hence the importance of a performance oriented training program. Performance oriented training is aimed to fulfil the competence requirements of each job position as dictated by its assigned functions. Identification of topics, both theoretical and practical, associated to each position defines the content of the training program, setting and performance measures. This text shows the program developed in Spain for candidates to a NPP operating license, in order to provide them with the necessary skills and knowledges and to fulfil the regulatory requirements
