On a possibility of generating gravitational waves of optical SHF- and UHF-ranges using intense coherent radiation and on the detection of waves for a number of gravity theories

Description

The problem of generating gravitational waves of optical, SHF and UHF-ranges using coherent radiation and detecting waves for a number of gravitation theories is considered. Gravitational radiation generation in a crystal for account of polariton effects in the course of propagation of electromagnetic wave and absorption zone of the latter is described. The calculation of the expected power absorbed by a concrete variant of the gravitational wave detector on eleastically bound masss in the proper detector reference system is given. Main effects of non-linear optics manifested at high densities of the electromagnetic radiation in the working environment: selffocusing and generation of combination and multiple harmonics are reported. By the method of holographic correction of intense radiation harmful selffocusing effects in the environment are eliminated. The expected differences of effects of the Hertz gravitational experiment in various gravitation theories concerning GRT are given
