Description
A diagnostic X-ray dose meter model FWJ-3A, has been developed for quality assurance. The dose meter consists of two ionization chambers and a measuring assembly (or display unit). The material of the chamber wall is air-equivalent. The thickness of the chamber wall is selected experimentally from several thicknesses in order to get good energy dependence. Volumes of chambers are 120 cc and 1.2 cc, respectively. The measuring assembly has three parts: a polarizing voltage supply, a small current (charge) measuring circuit and an analogous display. The dose meter can measure both dose and dose rate
