Radioisotope method for determining the wear of precise parts with working surface of large curvature
Description
Problems of using surface activation with a beam of accelerated charged particles for determination of the wear of precise parts having working surface of large curvature are described. Radioisotope method permits to measure the wear with high sensitivity and is usable for application under industrial conditions. A technique for irradiation of such parts, for measurements of induced activity and methods for obtaining calibration dependences to determine their wear are given. Modern mathematical-statistical methods for analyzing wear test results for small volume of experimental data are considered
