Accurate and Precise Titriraetric Analysis of Uranium in Nuclear Fuels. RCN Report
Description
For the accurate and precise titrimetric analysis of uranium in nuclear fuels, the material is dissolved in orthophosphoric and nitric acids. The nitric acid is fumed off, and the U (VI) present is analysed reductometrically in a CO2-atmosphere with iron (II) ammonium sulfate. For U3O8 -test-sample aliquots of resp. 800 and 80 mg coefficients of variation of 0.012 resp. 0.11% are measured. (author)
