Calculations of range distributions by using the scaling property of ion transport
Description
Based on the fact that the transport quantities of light-ion in solids can be described by a parameter called the scaled transport cross section, the universal expressions for the first four moments of range distribution have been obtained by fitting the data calculated by the bipartition model. To test the expressions, the comparison with experimental data and Monte Carlo data has been made. The comparison shows that the expressions obtained in the present paper can give good description to the range distributions of low energy ions in solids
