Description
A lattice gauge model, recently proposed, with an infinitely weak and infinitely long range potential is studied. It is shown that the exact solution is given by the mean field approximation. Furthermore in this model gauge invariance is spontaneously broken at low temperature, in contrast to the case of ordinary lattice gauge theory with short range potential. (orig.)
