Description

Energy Resources of Australia Ltd (ERA) operates the Ranger uranium mine, which has been producing since 1981 and is located in the Ranger Project Area approximately 250 km east of Darwin, Australia. The Ranger operation is a conventional milling, leaching, and solvent extraction circuit that extracts ore from open pits and treats it on-site to produce uranium oxide. Uranium is hosted by uraninite with accessory coffinite and brannerite.
