A pile-up correction method for fission work with active targets
- 1. CEA Centre d'Etudes Nucleaires de Bordeaux-Gradignan, 33 - Gradignan (France)
Description
A method which forms a part of a multiparametric set-up for fission work on very α-particle active fissile targets is presented here. It helps to identify a piled-up fission event and to correct off-line for the amount of pile-up present. Some results are presented for the spontaneous fission of 244Cm. (orig.)
