Present status and prospects of participation of Engineering Faculty of Technical University in Brno in training of personnel for Czechoslovak nuclear power
Description
The mechanical engineering faculty of the Technical University has incorporated the specialization ''Thermal and nuclear machines and equipment'' in its fields of study. Within this specialization there is the study course ''Nuclear power equipment''. For the nuclear power programme the university has been running postgraduate study courses since 1973 in ''Construction and operation of nuclear power plants''. The faculty also cooperates in nuclear power research projects. In 1982 a contract was signed on cooperation between the mechanical engineering faculty and the Dukovany nuclear power plant. At that time the faculty was already cooperating with the concern training centre for nuclear power plants operated by the Czech Power Works in Brno-Lesna. (E.S.)
