Description
The early dynamic 18F-FDG PET/CT can reflect perfusion, bio-distribution, uptake and excretion of 18F-FDG in certain organs (or lesions) in the early phase post injection. This imaging technique could be used to evaluate the organ (or lesion) perfusion and to serve as a supplement for conventional 18F-FDG PET/CT in the evaluation of glucose metabolism. This review summarizes the basic principle, imaging methods and clinical application of early dynamic 18F-FDG PET/CT. (authors)
