Remarks on the theory of superconductivity
Description
The relation between the Barden-Cooper-Schrieffer theory and the Bogoliubov theory of superconductivity is discussed. It is shown that the BCS trial wave function is derived by the same transformation as that used by Bogoliubov, and that the integral equation which determines as introduced parameter is equivalent. Some remarks on the excited-state wave functions is presented. (Author)
