Study of environment evaluation in control room of nuclear power plant

We tried to develop an evaluation method of psychological, physiological, and behavioral influence on operators, by using our control room mock-up. We examined the mock-up by changing the environmental condition to test the various items, thus sought a condition so that operators may work more comfortably and eliminate their careless mistakes. The field of Human Factors dealing with an interior environment is being to study. Therefore, a compound, quantitative evaluation on environment have been seldom studied so far. We except that this study will contribute to a coming research about comprehensive interior environment like offices, houses, etc. (author)
