Description
We evaluated the branching pattern of pulmonary artery A4 and A5 in the left upper lobe using MDCT in 64 cases. The variations of subsegmental arteries were evaluated arising from either the interlobar surface or the anterior part of the mediastinal surface. The thin section images can provide a means of assessing the branching pattern at the subsegmental artery in the lingular segment. (author)
