Description

In nuclear power plant, the principle of monitoring reactivity for boron concentration meter is measuring the neutron counting rate of boron solution,in which the boron solution concentration is calculated via detector signal. The function of pulse amplifier is magnifying the neutron pulse signal from detector, it is one of the most important part in boron concentration meter. The design of boron concentration meter pulse signal acquisition is critical and difficult. This paper describes the boron concentration measurement principle, the important role of nuclear power plant boron concentration meter design principles, pulse amplifier in the boron concentration meter, the use of the environment and difficult to design, as well as the works of the pulse amplifier, composition, design parameters and realization methods. Pulse amplifier grounding, electromagnetic compatibility and reliability design and aging by prolonged periods of power and with the nuclear test verification. The verification results and long-term use feedback to come. the pulse amplifier is stable and reliable to meet the nuclear power plant boron concentration meter usage requirements. (authors)
