Upper limit of muon flux of energies larger than 200 TeV

Description
With the Akeno EAS array covering an area of almost 1 km2, selection of the muon initiated air shower (HAS) from the tail of fluctuations of usual EAS's has been tried. Six candidates of sizes larger than 105 have been picked up. Assuming that these are real HAS, the upper limit of muon flux at 200 TeV is about 10-8 m-2 sec-1 ster-1 at 600
