Description
We evaluated CT images obtained from thirteen cases of abdominal tuberculosis and tuberculous peritonitis. All cases were diagnosed by using serological, immunochemical or histopathological methods. We concluded that tuberculous peritonitis would be able to distinguish from carcinomatous peritonitis more easily, with especially attention to omental line (the thin densely enhancing peripheral rim) on enhanced CT; under the circumstances compromised host has active or past extra-abdominal tuberculous lesions.
