Quality assurance of Zr alloy components for pressurised heavy water reactors
Description
In this paper the quality assurance requirements in the manufacture of Zr alloy core components of PHWR viz. fuel tube, pressure tube, calandria tube and garter springs will be reviewed. Some of the changes introduced in their quality specifications so as to improve their in-reactor performance will also be discussed
