Application of composite materials on the basis of dispersion-reinforced concretes for containers and reservoirs of radioactive wastes

Description
The analytical data, related to technical possibilities of high-strength fibres (steel, glass, basalt, carbon, polyethylene), applied not only as reinforcing components for concrete but also as supplementary screens, decreasing the flux of the rad waste ionizing radiation up to the level, regulated by the corresponding standards, are presented. Technical characteristics of new design solutions for containers and reservoirs intended for radwaste disposal are given
