Description
The main technical solutions for increasing the design safety of the 5th power unit of the Kursk NPP are presented: optimization of the neutronics characteristics of the reactor core, implementation of the complex reactor control system, transition to using the control rods of cluster type, implantation of the system for limitation of radioactive effluents during design accidents with pipeline ruptures out of the localization system

Приведены основные технические решения по повышению проектной безопасности 5-го энергоблока Курской АЭС: оптимизация нейтронно-физических характеристик активной зоны, внедрение комплексной системы контроля, управления и защиты, переход на регулирующие стержни кластерного типа, внедрение системы ограничения радиоактивных выбросов при проектных авариях с разрывами трубопроводов вне системы локализацииAdditional details
