Description
The star-size distribution in nuclear emulsion is independent of the energy for E(p) > 22.5 GeV. The ratio of the average shower multiplicity to the dispersion, nsub(s)/D, appears to have a constant value of 1.66 for the whole energy region 6.2 GeV <= E(p) <= 300 GeV. Semi-inclusive (or KNO) scaling applies to the nuclear emulsion if we take into account the composite nature of the target. (orig.)

(orig.)Additional details
