Shock wave-like structures in complex plasmas: Theory and experiments

  • 1. Institute for Dynamics of Geospheres RAS, Leninsky pr. 38, bld. 6, 117334 Moscow (Russian Federation)

Description

For the description of dust ion-acoustic shocks we have forwarded the so-called ionization source model. We show that this model is appropriate for the description of laboratory experiments in complex plasmas
