Synergic extraction of hexavalent actinides by mixtures of liquid cation exchanger and neutral donors

Description
Extraction of hexavalent actinides from aqueous perchlorate medium using an extractant combination (dinonylnaphthalene sulphonic acid and neutral donors) was studied. In all the cases, the synergism observed was quite appreciable. For a given neutral extractant, synergic coefficients under identical conditions follow the order U(VI)>Np(VI)>Pu(VI). (author)
