Preliminary study on mating methodology of irradiated spores pleurotus sajor caju and lentinus edodes for strain improvement

Description
Mating is an essential step in life cycle of sexually reproducing organisms, which together represent a mechanism for bringing about the combination of the genetic material from two different individual. In this study the irradiated spores using electron beam of edible mushroom as Pleurotus sajor caju and Lentinus edodes were obtained. The objective of this study is to discuss the mating technique between irradiated spores of P. sajor caju and L. edodes. (Author)
