Photo-induced transient thermoelectric effect in ferromagnetic BaIrO3
Creators
Description
BaIrO3 causes simultaneously charge-density wave and ferromagnetic phase transitions. The transient thermoelectric effect (TTE) has been investigated for this material. We have found that TTE signals are anisotropic on the <1 1 0>, <1 0 1> and <0 0 1> axes, and that the magnitude of the TTE signals shows anomalies at the characteristic temperatures Tc1=26 K, Tc2=80 K and Tc3=175 K (Tc3: Curie temperature). A brief discussion is given on the nesting of the Fermi surface
