Description

Objective: To study the different influences on the growth of the offsprings of SD rats receiving different low doses of irradiation in the whole pregnant period. Methods: To establish SD pregnant rat models receiving different doses of X-ray and observe the impact of irradiation on the growth of the offsprings. Results: Low dose rate of 0.015 mGy/d and 0.03 mGy/d could promote the development of offsprings in a certain extent, the group with dose rate of 0.06 mGy/d had little difference. While the group with dose rate of 0.09 mGy/d presented holdback in growth. Conclusion: Prenatal exposure to low dose radiation X-ray might promote growth of the offsprings. With the dose increasing, this exciting response gradually weakened, and at last presented obstacle response. (authors)
