Description
Sorbing capability of microamounts of ruthenium, rhodium and palladium depending on chemical nature of the surface of carbon materials on the basis of natural coals, solution composition, medium acidity, other factors, has been defined. A high selectivity of certain materials as regards ions of the above metals, potentiality of their extraction in the presence of 500-1000 -fold excess of ignoble metals (copper, chromium, iron, cobalt, nickel) has been ascertained and its reasons have been discussed. 13 refs.; 2 figs.; 2 tabs
