Status and role of medical physics radiology and radiation protection
Description
Brief review of history and medical physics development influenced by different international societies were presented in the paper. The importance of proper education was pointed out as well as physicists qualification for clinical job which consists of ionizing radiation application to the patients for therapeutic and diagnostic purposes. Some progress in medical physics status in SRJ, was noticed, but not sufficient to attain the level of international recommendation. (author)
