Study of bismuth molybdenum oxidic catalysts for methanol oxidation to formaldehyde

Description

Phase composition and catalytic properties of bismuth molybdenum oxidic system in reaction of methanol oxidation are studied at temperature of 280-350 deg. Increase of selectivity according to formaldehyde is connected with formation of MoO3 solid solution in bismuth molybdate Bi2O3x3MoO3
