1/n approximation in the generalized SU(3) Nambu-Jona-Lasinio (NJL) model
Description
This work considers the 1/N expansion of the SU(3) Nambu-Jona-Lasinio (NJL) model generalized as flavor of the 4 D quartic fermionic interactions in the functional integral, N being the free parameter which represents the color number. The model presents the symmetry basic properties of the QCD, is non-renormalizable and contains the term suggested by t'Hoof, which breaks the UA(1) axial symmetry. This work obtains the mass spectrum of the lightest hadrons as poles of the inverse vertex function matrix, and the meson-quark-antiquark coupling constants, in the tree approximation of the T scattering matrix
