Description
A bilocal model derived projecting out a particular state of motion of the relativistic string is considered. In principle the model describes integer spin massless states. However, its BRST quantization is shown to be consistent only for three values for the spacetime dimensions, and the corresponding solutions describe a rank-2 symmetric tensor (D=2), a vector (D=4), and a scalar (D=6).
