Quantum field theoretical methods in many body systems
Description
The way the nucleon-nucleon interaction is modified inside a nuclear medium was studied paying special attention to the spin-isospin channel. Several physical processes that are particularly sensitive to this component of the interaction are reviewed, and the importance of medium corrections in the description of their dynamics is discussed. 34 figs., 53 refs
