Application of Fritzsch-Gell-Mann algebra to the deep inelastic processes e+N→e+γ+anything and ν+N→l+γ+anything
Description
The processes e + N →e + γ+anything and ν+ N →l + γ+anything, where l is a charged lepton, are studied in generalized Bjorken limits of two types. In the kinematical regions considered, the light cone algebra of vector and axial-vector currents suggested by Fritzsch and Gell-Mann is applied. This leads to relations between the non-bremsstrahlung part of each process above and the corresponding process without the detection of the final state photon. These relations may be regarded as Ward identities for a hard photon. Finally, structure functions of the non-bremsstrahlung parts are found to scale.
