Description
The effect has been studied of multiple scattering on the degree of monochromaticity of γ-radiation at channeling positrons with the energy enabling to obtain additional monochromatization of radiation at the expense of compensation of anharmonism by corrections for non-dipolarity. The energies at which the effect in question is manifested have been previously called ''magic''. Using computerized simulation, the spectral-angular radiation characteristics at channeling of positrons with energies of 500 MeV, 5 and 10 GeV, along the plane (110) of a silicon monocrystal have been calculated. The calculation has confirmed the possibility of a considerable radiation monocromatization at channeling of positrons with an energy close to a ''magic'' one. The minimum attained peak width in the γ-radiation spectrum turns to be 2-3 times more than the analogous value calculated without account of multiple scattering of a channeled particle
