Description
The applicability of coupled-rearrangement channels method which makes use of Gaussian basis functions to few nucleon systems is investigated. Results are presented for deuteron with Reid soft core potential and A = 3, 4 nuclei with Malfliet-Tjon potential, and the values are compared with those of other methods. It has shown that this variational method is very useful to study these light nuclei. (author)
