Description

TL ages of pre-historic bricks from Vigakot, Kachchh obtained from two different trenches are found to be in the time-boundaries 3300-2400 BP and 6000-4400 BP. Since these two periods correspond to post-Harappan and pre-Harappan cultures respectively, the present work demonstrates the existence of early civilization at Vigakot, known as a prosperous ancient fort in the north western region of Kachchh.
