Required knowledge of experts for measuring exposure to electric, magnetic and electromagnetic fields. Statement of the SSK

The SSK is concerned about the quality of so-called expert opinions by self-pronounced experts. Statements by these experts differ widely in terms of quality. For this reason, the SSK set up a catalogue of minimum qualifications to be met by scientific experts who intend to assess exposure to electric, magnetic and electromagnetic fields in the frequency range of 0-300 GHz. The statement was published also with the intention to support appropriated accrediting procedures, e.g. by industrial associations and the German Accrediting Council. (orig.)
