The character of functional groups of the inorganic cationite of niobium(5) phosphate
Creators

Description
Investigation of ion-exchange properties of amorphous phosphate by the methods of potentiometric titration and IR spectroscopy has shown that the sorbent contains two qualitatively different functional groups. The HPO2- phosphate group functionates in medium acid and alkaline solutions, and the niobate group appears in more acidic solutions. The last group is connected with niobium-oxygen polymeric sorbent skeleton and represents water molecules coordinated by Nb atom
