Modulation effects of cosmic rays in logging magnetic traps of the solar wind

Description

In the drift approximation an effect of variations in cosmic rays (CR) in coroting magnetic traps, produced by different-speed solar wind fluxes is discussed. A dependence of the modulation amplitUde on the particle pitch angle in the interplanetary magnetic field has been studied by the Monte Carlo method. For diffusion nature of particle propagation in the accelerating regions, an increase is observed in the CR intensity. Specifically for the model under consideration, when the particle transport range Λ=0.5 U.A., mainly accelerated particles are observed in the Earth orbit region
