Zoom on: Fessenheim, 43 years of exploitation only. Shutting down of the 2. Fessenheim reactor, a nonsense for trade unions. Fessenheim, another look at parliamentary hearings of the 18 of June

Description

As the shutting down of the second Fessenheim reactor has been considered as an industrial, ecological, economic and social nonsense by the plant trade unions, a second article proposes an overview of the situation and of arguments: the support by EDF, a 40 year long debate about this plant, bitterness towards political authorities (no valid reason provided by the State), a nonsense in terms of security of supply, a nonsense regarding climate, the necessity of a strategic energy vision for France, the Technocentre project as an industrial alternative, and the incomprehensible ARENH's question. A third article comments the content of parliamentary hearings of local and plant representatives which highlighted the severe economic consequences of the political vagueness about the post-Fessenheim preparation, and the lack of industrial project on the short and medium term.
