Description
In the present letter the WMI, WMINS 3, and WMINSZ models for strongly deformed nuclei with the experimental data regarding the ground state band energies E(2) to E(18) are compared. A new method to establish the model parameters is proposed. It is shown that the proposed method (WMINSZ) presents an improvement over the WMI, WMINS 3. The application of the new procedure to band crossing outside the strictly rotational domain is suggested. 3 Tabs., 3 Refs
