Influence of the migmatization process on the mineralization of the uranium deposits Rozna-Olsi

  • 1. Uranove Doly, Dolni Rozinka (Czechoslovakia). Odstepny Zavod

Description

The migmatization process in the ore field of the uranium deposits Rozna-Olsi significantly influenced the forming of the subsequent hydrothermal processes that participated in the origin of the Rozna-Olsi uranium deposits. Ore deposits accumulations were found to exist in places where migmatization developed only locally in very well-preserved regionally metamorphosed rocks. On the flanks of the ore field, on the contrary, the process of migmatization developed in whole areas. The study of the space relations and of the progress of the migmatization process proved a relationship between the deposits and the belt of crystalline schists that are only locally affected by migmatization.
