Peculiarities of medical examinations among geophysicists working with ionizing radiation sources

A comprehensive radiation-hygienic characteristics of the working conditions of geophysicists who are in contact with ionizing radiation sources is given. Taking account of the peculiarities of their work and life in the field conditions, and basing on the experience of clinical observation over this group of persons it is proposed that special attention should be given in the process of regular medical check ups to some problems which will enable one to detect the primary types of a radiation effect and common somatic diseases typical of geophysicists
