Use of radioisotopes for investigating the distribution of some admixtures in zone melting of metals

Studies of the distribution of 95Zr and 110Ag in aluminium, and of 192Ir in molybdenum, in zone melting of these metals are described. Concentration profiles have been measured in the ingots using the sectional slot method. (author)

Es werden Versuche ūber die Verteilung von 93Zr und 110 Ag in Aluminium und 192Ir in Molybdān beim Zonenschmelzen dieser Metalle beschrieben. Die Konzentrationsprofile in den Barren wurden nach der Spalt- und Sektionsmethode gemessen.
