Effect of a liquid ISSEC on radiation damage parameters in laser fusion reactor first walls
Description
The effectiveness of a liquid Li ISSEC is analyzed and it is compared briefly to a solid C, V, Nb, Mo, and W ISSEC in terms of displacement damage and gas generation in the first walls. In addition a liquid Pb (or Pb4Li) ISSEC is proposed which may have more desirable characteristics without sacrificing important parameters such as breeding ratio
