The P-matrix approach and the problem of motion of three nucleons

Description
The P-matrix approach is used to describe properties of systems consisting of three strongly interacting particles. Three-particle low-energy quantities are calculated for the case of a rectangular potential by using a separable representation for the off-energy-shell scattering amplitude obtained in the P-matrix approach. These results indicate that convergence of the calculated three-particle quantities is good. 12 refs., 1 tab
