Formation of induced γ-activity in the process of pulsed high-voltage niobium saturation in deuterized Li2O water solutions
- 1. NNTs 'Khar'kovskij fiziko-tekhnicheskij institut', Khar'kov (Ukraine)
Description
The results of induced γ-activity of electrolytic cell Nb-W in the heavy-water and light water solution during the pulsed high-volt saturation are presented. The induced -activity was defected in the electrolytic cell during the high-voltage discharge in the monomolecular D2O-Li solutions with high reliability (the signal excess over the background for the most intensive spectrum lines 1681 keV by 6 σ). The same tests carried out with light-water don't demonstrate the induced activity. In the light-water tests also as on the deuterium-containing electrolyte use the 40 K isotope level change was not detected. The probable mechanisms of γ activity occurrence are considered
